Questions

What is FugaEdge?

A trading journal built for one kind of trader. It is a Windows application for small-cap momentum day traders, and the setups, the metrics and the discipline of that approach are built into it rather than configured into it.

You import your fills from your broker, tag what you actually traded, and it builds the record: which setups earn their tier, where your edge fits the stock and where it broke, what your mistakes cost you, and how extended you were when you clicked buy.

Who is it for?

Traders working the small-cap momentum playbook - the one taught in the DTSM community and by Ross Cameron. Fresh runners, pullbacks, the setups that live and die inside a session.

How is it different from the journals I already know?

Most of them are wide. They are built to serve a small-cap momentum day trader and a long-term options seller with the same screens, which means both of you spend your first week bending the thing to fit.

FugaEdge already knows how you trade before you type anything into it. The vocabulary is yours out of the box, the setups are the ones you actually take, and the metrics are the ones that decide whether a session was clean or one you gave back.

Which brokers does it work with?

DAS Trader, Webull, Ocean One, TradeZero, Lightspeed and ThinkorSwim.

You export a file from your platform the way you already can, and drop it into FugaEdge.

What if my broker is not on that list?

Say so in the Discord. That list has grown because traders in the beta asked for their platform and handed over a file to work from. It is how Webull got added.

Do I have to connect my brokerage account?

No. There is no login to your broker, no API key and no read access to your account. FugaEdge never touches it.

Where does my trading data live, and can you see it?

On your own drive, in a file you own. Not on my server, because there is not one.

I cannot see your trades and neither can anybody else. The application does not upload them, there is no account to create, and there is nothing sitting anywhere for someone to breach. For a record of every position you have taken and every mistake you have made, that is not a feature. It is the point.

Does it run on Mac?

Not today. FugaEdge is a native Windows application.

If you trade on a Mac, join the waitlist anyway and say so in the Discord. I want to know how many of you there are, and right now I am guessing.

Does it tell me what to trade?

No, and it never will. FugaEdge records and analyses trades you have already taken. It gives no signals, recommends no positions and has no opinion about what is going to run tomorrow.

What it does is tell you the truth about what you did yesterday.

How finished is it?

Not finished, and not pretending to be. A small cohort of momentum traders has been using it daily through several releases. They file the tickets, and their fixes ship with their names on them.

It keeps changing because they keep finding things. That is what a private beta is for.

What will it cost?

A price I would pay myself, and one I will put on this page as soon as I can stand behind it.

Here is the thinking behind it. The desktop application runs on your own machine rather than on a server somebody has to rent for you every month, so it carries no recurring cost for me to pass along to you.

And this whole thing started because I kept adding up what the polished journals were costing me over a year and could not answer what I was getting back for it. Whatever the price turns out to be, it will be one that answers that question.

When does it open?

There is no date to promise yet, and I would rather say that than invent one. The cohort is still finding things, and that is the point - it opens when it is ready, not on a date I made up. The waitlist is how you hear, and the Discord is where you watch it happen.

If the answers above sound like the journal you have been wanting, join the waitlist and you will know the day it opens.
